Earn your Super Bowl calories by joining this eye-opening experience on Sunday, Febuary 12th (NOTE TIME CHANGE TO START AT 10AM)

Join FWP for a 2-mile round-trip guided hike along Little White Oak Bayou to Moody Park and back through Hollywood Cemetery.  This hike is eye-opening to the natural beauty and incredible damage right in the middle of Houston. Please come see one of the hidden natural areas of our city. In the words of FWP Past-President Becky Houston, “Nobody who does this walk leaves unchanged.”

Meet us at 10:00 am at Woodland Park for Breakfast and Coffee!

For a shorter route, walkers can be picked up or dropped off at Moody Park.  Return trip will include a history tour of Hollywood Cemetery.

 Long pants and closed-toe shoes recommended.

This walk is not difficult but will traverse a few unstable and steep river banks. Most of the terrain is uneven, unmaintained trail.
